  1. I went ahead and booked directly with Hotel 50 Bowery with a price match to Expedia, since the price was about the same between Expedia and HOTWIRE. Thanks!
  2. This is the full amenities list using the Bidding Helper tool (which wasn't working for some reason when I posted this last night): Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Internet access A little cheaper now at $146/night. Either hotel is fine from the reviews. Cheaper would be better, obviously. I'm looking to stay in the LES area. $200/night is the budget.

  13. Yes, I am looking to save money and plus I stayed in Manhattan (Times Square) during my last trip. While it was fine, I want to stay somewhere that is not so touristy. I've never stayed in Brooklyn before. Is there something wrong with staying there? I will post the other hotels soon. Any guess as to the first hotel I posted?

  23. We've decided to put off going to Los Angeles till early August. And we'll be taking our 6-year old son. Any suggestions would still be appreciated.
  24. We bought the pass for our trip to NYC last year. We purcashed the hop-on hop-off option. It was okay for seeing the entire city relatively quickly, but most of our guides were less than informative. Like Penelope stated, a lot of the 'savings' listed are exaggerated. Many of the museums listed take donations, so there technically is no listed price for admission. Plus, it's doubtful you will have time to visit even half of the places on the list. If I had to do it again, I probably would not purchase it.
