  1. Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your win with the board, helping us add this property to the Chicago Hotwire Hotel List. Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Hope you enjoyed your stay.
  2. We are happy to help! Obviously we don’t speak for HOTWIRE or the hotel, but these are my thoughts… I would agree that this is most likely for the 2BR villa. The hotel/Hotwire could always make the claim that it is for 2 rooms (ie- a suite with separate sleeping and living areas) and not necessarily 2 bedrooms as indicated in the room selection. If this were the case I would think that you would have a very good argument for ‘not as described’ and be entitled to a refund (or Hotwire calling the hotel to see if they will honor that room type). I would take a screenshot showing the room type during the checkout process. From there, after you make the purchase, call the hotel to confirm the room type. If any issue/discrepancy try to resolve with the person on the phone and if unsuccessful then give HOTWIRE a call to try to resolve. Hopefully all of the above will be a moot point with the hotel confirming that you have been assigned the 2BR villa, but if not I think you have a pretty good case for a refund with Hotwire. The only caveat I will add is that I see at the Westgate website the 2BR accommodates up to 8 guests. You can only search Hotwire for up to quad occupancy, so I wouldn’t necessarily expect to show up with 8 people (or more guests than you included in your Hotwire search), as that could give the hotel a loophole, or charge you extra at check-in, if they are trying to not honor the 2BR Villa room option. That’s my 2 cents worth.😉 Thanks for using the board HOTWIRE links for your searches/purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  3. Congratulations on your success and glad to hear you're pleased with the results. Thanks for the update to the Boston Hotwire Hotel List. Although this listing was not an exact match to the hotel list, in the future you can try searching with our Reveal Hotels site which automatically matches the hotel listing and does show this offer as the Doubletree. Thank you for sharing your results and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase. Hope your cousin has a great stay!
  4. For this property... 4 star Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $152/night: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Restaurant Fitness Center Handicapped Rooms/Facilities No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ... although i'm not 100% certain, my guess here would be the Wyndham Bonnet Creek or the Hilton Bonnet Creek (of these i'd slightly favor the Hilton as the more likely of the two). HOWEVER, if you're interested in either of these i think there are better ways to book them. Are either of these of interest at this price OR are you looking for something on-site (or some other requirement) for this trip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  5. Hi, welcome to BetterBidding! This property (and most others) is easily identified with our BiddingHelper.com tool: 3.5* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek Free breakfast Free parking Free internet Pet friendly Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center ... best guess for this one would be the Towneplace Suites Orlando at Flamingo Crossing / W Entrance Does this work for your needs? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  6. Congratulations on your success! Nice to see you got a great rate and are happy with the results. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us update this listing in the Denver Hotwire Hotel List. Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Have a great trip.
  7. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that this will work well for your plans... we're happy to have been able to help. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and for using the board HOTWIRE link for your searches/purchase. Have a great trip.
  8. Glad to see the posting issue has been resolved. I'm not seeing the Cosmopolitan or Dana offered for your dates thru either 'opaque' service. If the Hilton Garden Inn you're referring to is the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Old Town/Sea World Area in Old Town, i'm not seeing this one either thru the 'hidden hotel' side of their service, but PRICELINE does have it on the regular retail side of their service for $174 per night (confirm your dates on the landing page) and our Priceline Coupon for 5% off should work on this property as well, but not sure if this would be worth an extra ~$60/nite to you or not (vs the Altwood or Holiday Inn Express Beach) Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  9. We're happy to try to help! Thank you for providing the information above, i think i have a good handle on what you're seeking for this trip, and good that you're a bit flexible. Some ideas from my initial search, and we can fine tune based upon your feedback should nothing above excite you at the onset: Holiay Inn Express San Diego SeaWorld Beach Area for $108/nite SeaWorld - Mission Bay --> while i typically don't get too excited about a Holiday Inn Express, i included this one since the location seems to work well for your needs, it includes breakfast, and is within budget. The last 2-3 reviews i read were not that favorable, but prior to that the reviews were very good. I'm guessing the hotel may be limited staff during slow covid times and therefore has fallen short in some aspects (which should be improving now) and even the negative reviews indicated that the rooms were fine (it more so limited service) The Atwood for $102/nite Mission Valley - Hotel Circle - Balboa Park --> note it's a Motel but i mention just because the price is low and gets good reviews for cleanliness, but for you to decide if this is something for you or not Handelry Hotel for $107/nite Mission Valley - Hotel Circle - Balboa Park --> i don't know much about this property but i know it's been around for a long time. A bit higher star rated than the Holiday Inn Express above, although 'cleanliness' is a bit lower rated but still pretty good (at 3.9/5.0) Legacy Resort Hotel and Spa for $164/nite Mission Valley - Hotel Circle - Balboa Park --> a bit higher priced than the others, but also seems to be a big jump in star rating, reviews, quality, etc Also seeing: Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites San Diego Airport - Old Town for $152/nite --> might be good location for you, reviews look good Best Western Hacienda Suites-Old Town for $166/nite (can take 5% off with our Priceline Coupon) --> starting to push the budget but reviews are very good Any of the above of interest (or your favorite one but what 'more' you would want from a hotel)? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. PS- if you could try again posting in the California section of the board (even just something that says 'test'), if you're successful i'll delete the test post, if not successful please send me a PM with the steps you took in trying to post (which links/forum or anything else that would allow us to try to replicate) so we can test on our end. Thanks!
  10. You're welcome... and congratulations on getting the hotel you had hoped for! Have a great trip and a Happy Anniversary
  11. Case in point! I posted the coupon codes as they were sent to us and you're correct, they were not working. However, through some trial and error i have figured out their mistake and have updated our Hotwire Coupon page accordingly (they left one letter out of each of the codes). Thank you for letting us know of the issue and i'm assuming it is now resolved, please let us know if you have any further issues that we may be able to assist with.
  12. We have gotten new / updated coupons. See our Hotwire Coupon page for the current deals.
  13. Welcome to BetterBidding! We almost always have a Hotwire Coupon and are usually given exclusive deals for when their is nothing offered system-wide. Unfortunately there have been some internal changes at HOTWIRE so things are not happening seemlessly as they have in the past. I actually reached out to them yesterday for a new coupon but have not heard back from them yet (admittedly it was late in the day yesterday so not unusual to not have heard back yet first thing in the morning). So the short answer is that we hope to have a new coupon in the very near future... but can't be certain or make any guarantees. To be honest, they usually promote heavily during holidays, so i'm very surprised they didn't have anything for the July 4th Holiday (well, they did have a holiday coupon but it expired before the actually holiday)... could have something to do with the changes taking place over there. What are the details of your trip and which hotel is it that you're hoping to receive? Have you looked to see if the same offer is available thru PRICELINE EXPRESS? Obviously the risk in waiting is if the current hotel offer disappears entirely before we are able to get a new coupon; are there other offers available that would be acceptable should this current offer disappear before you're able to make your purchase? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  14. Typically they should be for unlimited use. The ones that have our name in the coupon ('BB', 'BBid', etc. in them can be used multiple times), others may have their own terms, but i don't see anything for the current FREEDOM20 that indicates it's only one-time use. An exception would be if a coupon is indicated for 'New Customers' only. The definition of a 'new customer' could change at any time, but as far as i know it's based upon email address, so two friends/spouses traveling together who are each new to the Priceline or Hotwire system could theoretically split the trip into two purchases and each use a new customer coupon. Also, keep in mind that any of our PRICELINE coupons which are indicated good for any 'pre-paid hotel' only means that it can't be a "pay when you stay" property (of which there are very few). Some people, myself included at first, thought this meant it was only good for non-refundable rates, but it can be used on refundable rates too! In short, if you're paying PRICELINE on the checkout page, and there is a promo box to enter a coupon, then it should be able to be used.
  15. Could be a whole bunch of reasons, but i didn't really give it much thought as it doesn't effect us at all since our tools and resources (RevealHotels, BiddingHelper, etc) continue to work without any issue. As well, for our users PRICELINE offered a much better 'regular rate' value than HOTWIRE as: 1) PL VIP rates made most retail bookings cheaper than Hotwire 2) most of our Priceline Coupons also work with retail rates and can be stacked with their VIP savings, often making it the least expensive way to book For the reasons above, Hotwire choosing to remove retail hotel listings is not a big deal as we still have all of our tools at our disposal and for those interested in regular rate reservations there are better ways to book (PRICELINE VIP rates with our coupons )
  16. Been this way for a few weeks. The HOTWIRE RESEARCH tab of our BiddingHelper.com tool still works well for researching and identifying hotels. If there is a specific hotel that you're looking at which is not identified feel free to give us the details of your search and the hotel offer you're considering and we'll research it manually. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  17. Congratulations on your success! Hope you're pleased with the results and this hotel will be convenient for your plans this trip. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us update the Chicago Hotwire Hotel List. Please click the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay.
  18. Use our BiddingHelper.com tool to identify this (and most) Hotwire hotels. For this offer: 2.5* HOTWIRE Midtown Charleston - Medical Complex for $103 Free breakfast Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Business center Self-service laundry In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom ==> indicated to be the Comfort Inn Downtown Charleston Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  19. I assume this is the property and description you are looking at: 5* The Strip - Central West (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $144/nite with: Casino Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Restaurant Fitness Center Handicapped Rooms/Facilities No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> as per BiddingHelper.com this would be The Cosmo and that would indeed be our best guess as well Not sure of your needs/plans for this trip, but i'll also point out that this one looks to be an excellent deal for these dates: 5* The Strip - Northeast (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $109/nite with: Casino Free Internet Free Parking Indoor or Outdoor Pool Airport Shuttle Restaurant Fitness Center Handicapped Rooms/Facilities No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> The Palazzo is our best guess here Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  20. Welcome to BetterBidding! Our BiddingHelper.com tool should be able to ID this property for you... just fill in the search box with your location/dates and then once you start to see the search results click the PRICELINE RESEARCH tab on the right side. If you'd like us to have a further look to confirm what you're seeing (or if you have any problems with the BiddingHelper.com) let us know the dates of your stay and we'll have a look. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. PS- i know the Vdara also has rooms that are labeled 'Fountain View'. I'm not saying that is necessarily the one you're seeing (since i can't view the same offer without knowing your dates) but at least be aware that is a possibility as well.
  21. We're happy to help! Did you end up purchasing the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer?
  22. Welcome to BetterBidding! To confirm, you're traveling/searching: June 25-27 and searching for 4 adults Your goal is to make sure you have two actual beds in the room (and not 1King + pullout sofabed) Do i have the above correct? If so... First, confirming that you're aware that the hotel you linked above is likely the Trump, which is a little off-strip and does not have a casino. I assume this would be an acceptable outcome for your group? I know it's not necessarily everyone's first choice, but i do see that rates at the other 5 star properties are high for your dates above, so perhaps the Trump hotel becomes a bit more palatable. I see two options: 1) if your search includes quad occupancy then HOTWIRE guarantees that the room will accommodate everyone you include in your group. While this usually means 2 beds in the room, it could include 1 bed + sofabed (it can be argued that a sofabed is not sufficient for two adults, but you may or may not get very far with that argument) 2) the other option is to have a look at Priceline Express where THIS OFFER (confirm your dates on the landing page) also appears to be The Trump. This PRICELINE offer does give a BED CHOICE option and you can choose the TWO QUEEN bed option for $185/nite. The one caveat here though is that priceline only guarantees accommodations for double occupancy. Usually it's not an issue showing up with more as long as the room type you reserved is designed to accommodate the number of guests in your group, but you can also avoid any issues altogether by just having two people go to the check-in desk while others wonder the lobby, start to explore the hotel, or hang out across the street at the Fashion Show Mall for a bit until the two guests have completed the check-in process and brought all the bags up to the room. Personally, i think the 2nd option is the better of the two if your main objective is to ensure two beds in the room (and you and the others in your group are comfortable booking for double occupancy and showing up with four), but there is still a small risk to it. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
  23. Congratulations on your success! Looks like an excellent deal, especially for more than double occupancy as these rooms are so spacious! Glad you received the hotel you were hoping for and that you continue to find the information/tools here useful! Thank you for sharing your results and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase. Have a great trip and enjoy the luxury of the Venetian!
