Hi All,

I did a long series of bids to get a 4* in Philadelphia (for details see my post under PL PA). For about half of the bids, I never got an email response from Priceline. (I checked my junkbox and they weren't there either. I am fairly confident that I typed in my email address every time because I used autocomplete each time and I got many PL responses.

I don't know if this is relevant, but during the session (of ~15 bids), a half dozen or so times I got a message saying that PL was still working on finding a hotel and would get back to me within 15 minutes. In these cases, I clicked a button an a response was there. I can't say whether the cases where I didn't get email responses corresponded with the cases where I had to wait

Any thoughts?

PS I am not worried about the reservation (I printed out the receipt and saved a copy), just curious

It could be their server is bogged down (sending emails is actually an intensive process for a server) or that there is internet congestion or a delay by your ISP.

I wouldn't think too much of it.
