  1. Please let us know whatever you decided to do for this trip (even if you don't use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book a regular rate hotel, etc) as this helps keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans.   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.   Thanks.
  2. Need help IDing Disney area hotels

Are you ready to commit to a hotel at this point in time OR are your plans not yet firm and/or do some other things needs to fall in place before you're able to book?   So the hotels above are easier for us to find when we replicate your search, please include the room rate per nite for each.   Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.
  3. Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received a nice deal at this property well in advance of your stay. Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Have a great stay.
  4. First-timer: Disneyland hotel help

Your budget needs to be determined based upon your 'next best deal'... not necessarily by how much you want to pay, as what you want to pay may mor may not be reasonable for your dates.   What is the best deal you're currently able to find at a hotel that meets your given criteria? (occupancy, breakfast, pool, walking distance to the park, etc)   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  5. Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your future travel purchases. Hope you're enjoying your stay.
  6. Congratulations on your success! Nice to see you received the hotel guessed and that you're pleased with the outcome. Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us update the Hotwire Hotel List with the new amenity set for this property. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay.
  7. San Juan

You can see all hotels reported to the board in the Priceline Hotel List and Hotwire Hotel List.   Have you decided which zones you'd like to stay in and your maximum budget (per nite before taxes/fees)?   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  8. 4.5* Waikoloa - Kohala Coast Hotel

fritzeg, I believe we have answered/identified any hotels that you have asked about... not sure if that one was the 100%, 95%, or 90% property.   Is there a specific hotel that you're looking for or certain amenities that are needed for this stay?  What is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) for this trip?   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  9. Bidding help on 4.5-5*

Welcome to BetterBidding!   When bidding 4.5* in NYC you have 11 re-bid zones.  If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.   Select 4.5* TS, MTW, CPS... Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $165, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $175, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $180, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $183, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $185, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $188, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $190, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $195, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $198   Any questions feel free to ask.   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.   Good luck and let us know how it goes.
  10. Welcome to BetterBidding!   I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: Pet Friendly Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... if this is what you're seeing, the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley would be my best guess for this one.   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.   Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  11. Help Identify: 2.5* West Beverly Hills

I'd agree that the best guess for this 2.5* PRICELINE EXPRESS offer would be the Best Western Royal Palace Inn and Suites.   How much of a savings would you need from the $125 rate to make the risk of receiving a different hotel worthwhile (that may not offer free parking or free breakfast)?   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  12. I'm less certain, but The Marqueen would be my guess for this one as well.   Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.   Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
  13. Welcome (officially) to BetterBidding!   It would be appreciated if you started to share your wins with the board so that others can benefit from the information, just as you have benefited from those who have posted before you.   Your dates are different than the thread you referenced above so the amount of that winning bid (which is for mid-week dates) may have little to do with what is needed for your own dates (which are weekend... and a holiday weekend)   HOTWIRE has what appears to be the Treasure Bay Hotel and Marina for $138/nite... any interest in this property? (if not, i think you may be looking at the $140-$160 when bidding on PRICELINE)   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.
  14. 3* Orlando bidding in progress

The link structure used by PRICELINE EXPRESS (and HOTWIRE) don't allow you to link to hotel offers from your search... the links will only work on your own computer, and even then they will break after about 30 minutes.   For help with the 4* PRICELINE EXPRESS offer you referenced in your previous post please provide the full details (dates, zone, room rate per nite, amenities associated with the hotel, etc) and we will have a look.   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  15. NY Jun 23-27

All PRICELINE rooms are for double occupancy.  The issue of having four guests presenting a problem goes down significantly when there are two beds in the room, but you could still find a hotel that takes issue with the extra guests (as it's more wear and tear on the room, uses more water, towels, etc, etc)   If this is a risk you'd rather not take then HOTWIRE would be a better option as they will allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensures sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (while this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a rollaway brought into the room, a pullout sofabed, etc)   All of the hotels above are above your $150 budget... are you willing to increase your maximum to $200+ at this point in time?   Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.
