No. Not any booking with HOTWIRE. Occasionally PRICELINE but very sporadically. Was booking with hotel chains directly to earn pts and keep status.

Date changes to May 11 - 12.

Only 3 1/2 star and 3 star are available now at 102 and 72 respectively. Must be weekday versus weekend.

Sporadic or not, perhaps your wins (and/or failed bids) could have helped other users who were looking to stay in the same area(s) you were bidding... please begin to share your results with the board so that others can benefit from the information.

The amenities for the 3.5* are common for a hotel of this quality but this does match previous reports for the Holiday Inn M4-Jct 4 so that would be my best guess for this one.

Best guess for the 3* is the Thistle London Heathrow. (downgraded from the last report to the board at the 3.5* level)

My last PRICELINE booking was 2 nights in San Diego in Feb of 2009 for the WHOLE Year of 2009. The one prior to that was in 2007. That is how sporadic it is. I use several discount booking engines a lot for Europe / Asia / Australia bookings when looking for low cost alternatives. Neither HOTWIRE nor PRICELINE can meet our needs in locations we go.

Definitely would go thru the links on this site should I book. Actually click thru here to HOTWIRE to check availabilities. Dont know if that helps or must a successful booking is required?

UPDATE:

Again, NO NEED to use HOTWIRE or PRICELINE.

I realize our ThankYou Points can be used to book hotel stays as well. (Totally forgot about this).

There is an Ibis Heathrow on Bath Road that only costs me 7900 TYPs, equals to $79.00. Having a healthy balance of hundreds of thousands TYPs, I would be crazy to not use it for awards, and incur NO out of pocket $.

I just want the hosts of this helpful website KNOW the reason why no booking coming thru after asking for help. I do appreciate all the works you do and would definitely try to patronize your business whenever it is possible.
