Hello,
I starting bidding about 5 days ago, all bids have been refused without counter offers.

Here are the particulars:
NYC
3*
1 room
Mon March 29 -Mon April 5 (7 nights)
MSG (Times Sq-Theatre District would be ok as well)
starting bid was 80$ and have gone as high as 115$ so far

The hotels that I´ve checked are listed in the 180-260 $ range (e.g. Ramada Plaza New Yorker, Wyndham Garden Midtown) .

Could it be the problem that 7 days are just too long? Should I split the bid? Or is 115$ just not high enough for an offer?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks!

Welcome to Betterbidding. smile.gif

Are you only interested in MSG & TS? Additionally, what would your desired max budget be per night for hotel?

I think you would better your chances if you were able to include others zones. Usually, for the average visitor, MSG, Chelse, CPS, ESB, MTE, MTW, and TS all work fine, with the following caveat: in the MTE zone the Millennium UN (3.5* rated, but your 3* bid could be upgraded to this star level is about a 15 minute walk to the subwa, you'll need to decide if this would be acceptable or not) and the Hudson Hotel (in the CPS zone has notoriously small rooms, even by NYC standars, otherwise the hotel is fine and a 'hot spot', but you need to be prepared for the small room)

Would you plans allow for any of these other zones?

Hi,

I would also consider Chelsea, MTW or CPS but would prefer MSG, TS or ESB.

My desired max budget be per night is 125 (without tax) for MSG, TS or ESB and around 110 for the other areas.

Thanks

Do you first want to try up to your limit for MSG, TS and ESB... then if rejected include the other zones with a $110 limit?
