I am trying to get a room in San Pedro, Ca at either the Doubletree or Crown Plaza. Many have said that either of these can be had at $65 plus tax. Hoping to get lucky, I log into PRICELINE and make my first bid at $55. When I try to bump it up it says I have to change something other than bid price. This is crazy as I can't change my date, don't want to stay at a lessor property nor in another location.
Is there a way to rebid but only changing the bid price?
Thanks

Welcome to Betterbidding.
Please let us know your dates of travel and budget and we would be happy to make suggestions. Additionally, one cannot guarantee a particular property on PRICELINE - while others may have gotten certain hotels when making a particular bid, keep in mind that you may get a different hotel - the list of reported california hotels is available at the site's Priceline Hotel List for California.
Read this thread about Priceline Rebidding. Let us know if you need further clarification. Re-bidding is not always available, depending on the area and/or star rating.
