Where is a good place to go to find out which hotels have free in-room internet? Specifically near the the New Orleans Conv. Center. Thanks!

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

I'm not sure such a list exists, but one could look through the hotels in that section of the city on Expedia to see which hotels showed no fee for internet use. There's no way to guarantee a hotel w/free internet via PRICELINE or HOTWIRE.

Please use the site's HOTWIRE, PRICELINE or Expedia.com links.

There is a moderately useful site, Wi-Fi-Freespot, that lists (unsurprisingly!) free wifi spots around the country. There's a list of airports, a list of hotel chains that always/sometimes/often offer free internet, and you can also look by state and city. So, for instance, you can find a pretty good listing here:

http://www.wififreespot.com/la.htm

That includes hotels but also cafes. (I was so happy when I discovered that there are web sites listing free wifi coffee shops in cities nationwide -- that seriously increased my Quality of Life!)

Hope that's helpful.
