Hi Everyone,
I saw on priceline that we can bid for hotel (however, it doesn't tell you the hotels). Is it the same hotels as if I did not use the bid function (ie. if I was to pick the hotel and just purchase it regularly)? How would I be able to see which hotels that I am bidding for?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

No, the list of hotels on the direct purchase side of Priceline is not necessarily the same as the available hotels on the bidding side. There is some correlation, but you can't count on it.
You can't see the hotels for which you are bidding, but you can look at the list of hotels other members have received and posted on this site. Each geographic area has as the very first topic the list of reported hotels. But even that can't be totally relied upon, as it is always possible to get a new hotel no one has yet reported.
Just think of it as an adventure, a surprise, a gamble, fun.....
I've bid for hotels in a lot of different cities. I've always been at least OK with what I got, and sometimes VERY pleasantly surprised.
Do some research first on current rates from the hotel web sites, check some of the general sites, maybe the QuickSearch here, and read some of the postings from other members. Ask for advice on this site. A well informed bidder does tend to be a happier bidder.
