As Priceline's new system no longer enables us to figure out their cost from the tax amount (see Using Taxes to determine what Priceline paid for more info), it now becomes very important that we post our bid history (ie- Bid 3* $35 rejected, added re-bid zone at $38 rejected, bid $40 accepted).
Simply posting "won at $60" doesn't help as much, as other users bidding this zone will have no idea if $60 is the best bid amount to start at, or if a lower bid may be accepted. Even adding "won at $60 which was my first bid" would help somewhat.
Over time, by posting the rejected bids along with the ultimate accepted bid, we should be able to still figure out the "right" price to start our bids in each zone.
