Bid $90 for 4* Newark (Jersey City) Jersey City 8/28 -8/29/2009.
Rejected.
Priceline gave me a one-time offer to add $22 to my bid.
I have not read anything about this on these boards, and since the date is next week, I did that.
Bid $112 for 4* Newark (Jersey City) Jersey City 8/28 -8/29/2009 was accepted.
Not too bad, and I could have been patient and tried the bidding process outlines on the board, but since I want next week, I went to $112.
Happy with the results.

This is very nice hotel with easy transportation to NYC virtually right at the doorstep of the hotel.

For future bidding, the "one time chance to add $22 to your bid" is what we refer to as a counter-offer, and you can usually undercut the counteroffer by using re-bid zones (if available). If you're not familiar with re-bidding it is discussed in further detail here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and you can read more about counter-offers here: Priceline Suggests Price to Pay.

Any questions about either of the above feel free to ask.

Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
