NY vs. Jersey City

I will be driving. I am trying to weigh the options between between the two....Would it be a nightmare to stay in Manhattan and drive in for a first timer or would I be better off to stay in Jersey City and take the train into Manhattan?

Also, when booking through PRICELINE, do you find that it is more unlikely to be able to get two double beds. Do they usually put you in a one bed room or are they usually still accomodating for a request of two beds?

.......and I followed your PRICELINE link to make the booking.

My vacation is now completely booked (Phi-AC-NY) and this site has been a valuable resource and I will certainly be using it often. Thank you.

Hi,

I stayed in this hotel last weekend and booked via PRICELINE and received a room with two double beds (even though I was hoping for a king). There is a possibility that you will get two double beds!
