Hi,
I am new to this bidding activity on Priceline. However, I’ve read up on how the free rebidding works and I think I understand the basics. But I still have some questions regarding the rebidding process.

Every time I want to use a free rebid, do I hit the back button until I am at the Priceline main page where the zones are shown? Or do I close the web browser and then return to the Priceline search box in the right corner of this website? Is there any difference one way or the other?

I have not done this before and I just want to make sure I know the correct way so I won’t have any technical errors or accidential charges on my credit card.

Thanks!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

You should never need to hit the BACK button on your browser. If youre bid is rejected, PRICELINE will give you a message indicating such, but then give you the option of adding a zone... the available zones will be listed below the error message and those zones previously selected will already be selected (with no ability to UNcheck them)

You want to close the browser when you need to do UNselect a zone. Since there is no way to UNCHECK a previously selected zone, you need to close the browser, then once again click the PRICELINE search box on the top right of the page to re-access PRICELINE and start with a 'clean slate' in regards to which zones you want to choose for the next round of bidding.

If you let us know the details of your stay (city, star rating, maximum bid, dates, etc) we'll suggest a bidding strategy for you to follow.

thereuare, Thank you for the clarification.

Another question: Closing the browser and re-accessing the Priceline site thru this page, that's what I would have to do after I used up all my free rebids, right?

Thanks again!

No, if you use all your re-bids you'll have to wait it out 24 hours.

Please post the details of your upcoming stay (desired star rating, city, zone(s), dates, maximum bid, etc) and we'll advse accordingly and/or provide a specific example for your particular stay.
