I've been seeing a LOT of folks getting a good deal on the Parc 55 hotel in San Francisco through priceline. I've stayed in this hotel before and loved it.
I'm planning a return to SF, hopefully for this october. How far in advance can I bid on priceline? Is roughly 6 months too far to get a good deal?
Also, I am Canadian and using a Visa Card. Am I going to have problems with the card? I've read some stories here about Canadian Visa users having difficulty.

If your plans are firm you could try now. Just keep in mind that the hotel may or may not have low prices loaded. But if your plans are firm then bid.
