Newbie here....If I bid on priceline for 4 tickets and the price is agreed to, is there a possibility they could assign us to more than one airline or on different flights with the same airline? I need my family on the same plane. We don't really care if we have seats together, just the same plane!

If you bid for the tickets together they will all have the same itinerary, which i think is the main concern you have. It's possible that you have two different airline companies on the outbound/inbound flights (thru codeshare agreements), but i don't think this is really what you're asking, but added just for clarity.

That is very helpful, but will we all be on the same flight together? I don't care which airline or if they are different each way of the trip, I just need to make sure we are together (it's my kids).

Yes, all four tickets will be on the same itinerary - provided you bid for all four of them in the same bid.
