Problem with booking on Hotwire

Could anyone please help.
I have been trying to book a hotel on Hotwire,but when i get to the confirmation page it states "we cannot proceed as there are difficulties exchanging information with our service providers. Error 216.
I am trying to book from the UK.Has anyone else come across this problem.
