Hi. First time user of PRICELINE and HOTWIRE. I found one post on better bidding regarding this topic, suggesting to use HOTWIRE. I went there and they had no hotels for the dates March 7th to 8th (one night) in the area near SJU Airport (San Juan , Puerto Rico). Priceline has lots of hotels on those dates, but unless I'm missing something there is no way to determine what the bed configuration is going to be, and whether we'll have two double beds at a minimum in our room.

Am I correct that only HOTWIRE enables you to specify a room to accomodate the # of children, and with PRICELINE I should stop now or be forced to bid for two rooms?

I look forward to anyone's insight into this 'family' booking situation. Thank you,.

You are correct. PL will does not let you specify more that two people. Just remember that when bidding for two rooms you may get two that are not on the same floor. When I am in this situation I use the more traditional booking methods.
