Can someone please help me? Using from Australia?

Hi There,
I am heading to Houston in March & Wanted to use Priceline For trying to bid on a hotel, While i managed to sign up to the website, They want a US address to bid on the hotel.

I have a Visa Credit card, and my question was if i use a Fake Address, (A Us Addy) Will i be able to get a hotel room? Do they check your address at the hotel? I am so annoyed, i really wanted to try PriceLine.. Am not sure why we cant Choose from other countrys.

Hopefully someone has some advice :)
