Hi, I've been getting flights off priceline for a while, and I just tried to get a one-way flight to Burlington, Vermont in two months. It said it is working on my reservation, but after several days it's still not "confirmed" with that green check by it.

Whenever I click on the request number in my list of trips, it just takes me to a page of the currently available flights on that day, and at the top says:
"Sorry – Unable to book your airline tickets
Airline availability and pricing is constantly changing and we were unable to book the flights you requested.
Please select an alternative option from the itineraries below. Prices are per ticket including all taxes and fees."

here's what it looks like.

I don't want to just buy another flight that will work just to have this one suddenly go through and I'll be stuck with a whole extra flight on my hands [and wasted money!].

What is going on and how should I handle it?
