Hello,

Currently I have reservations at the Doubletree in Jersey City for $212/night but would much rather stay at the Hyatt. Ran accross this website while reading the forums on tripadvisor and thought I'd see if i might be able to score the Hyatt for less than what they are currently asking.

Since I am set on the Hyatt, it sounds like Hotwire would be the better way to go. If current rates are around $300, what price should I start with?

Any other help/feedback would be apprecaited.

Thanks!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

You really can't bid on HOTWIRE, but it looks like there is a 4* in the Hoboken-Jersey City zone for $139 with the following amenities: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access. These amenities match the JC Hyatt.

Please use this HOTWIRE link if you proceed as it supports the board, making it a free, valuable resource for all.

Please note that HOTWIRE offers can appear and disappear, so if your plans are firm, tempus fugit wink.gif Now, if you really want to roll the dice, you could commence a PRICELINE bid and attempt to shave the HOTWIRE price, although you could end up back at the Doubletree as both hotels are 3* rated.

Good luck!
