Everyone, was looking at booking a hotel in Windsor for this coming March, and Inoticed that there is only one HUGE zone for the priceline area. So you may get stuck with a hotel all the way near the bridge (which for those of you who have never been there is about 5 miles from the downtown area).
HOWEVER, I went through HOTWIRE and noticed that the zone is considerably smaller and SHOULD detail only the hotels that are there by the casino and clubs. I am speaking of the Hilton, Travelodge, Quality Inn, Radisson, etc. I am wondering if there is an updated list for possible hotels through hotwire and also if there is a way to decipher which hotel is which by something like their listed amenities?
Please help.
Thank you

Soon, all the hotels south of EC Row Expressway will be torn down.. to make way for the DRIC highway.
The Best Western is already sold.. but still running out its days (dump anyway)
ANd the comfort in (not bad) will be gone soon.
This will leave the HOliday in on Huron Church, the Hampton in.. and Travel lodge. All nice for their star rating.

Bid on a 3* through Priceline and you'll only get the options of Hilton, Radisson and Holiday Inn. All 3 are good for going downtown. Hilton and radisson are right on the river, but if you get the Holiday Inn, they offer a free shuttle service both ways until 1130 pm.
- The most you'll have to bid is $70 on priceline and you will usually get accepted in the $50 range.
Hotwire has alot more of what they consider to be 3star hotels in the city, and they also have a 3.5star range which makes it more confusing. The casino is the only 4star hotel in the city though, so if you see that for a cheap price then take it. If you accept a 3 star in the dt area from Hotwire, it will most likely be Quality suites downtown. Not the nicest place, but not horrible either.
Anyways good luck getting what you are looking for.
