spaceace
I want to purchase just my car rental through either priceline or hotwire -- and I want to insure my whole trip. I have 2 small kids who seem to get sick alot (as kids do) and want to insure against that problem. Any advice? Do I need to get the insurance before doing priceline/hotwire? Do princeline/hotwire offer insurance? Thanks all! Link to comment
thereuare
I'd purchase thru an outside insurance company... no booking agency is going to offer you insuruance of your entire trip if you only buy one component thru them. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
cemurdough
I'm new to this, but when I went on PRICELINE, there was an option to add cancellation coverage for about $5 per person - any idea how that works? Link to comment
thereuare
Just to clarify the above... there are very specific conditions which need to be met to make a valid insurance claim to get back the cost of your trip/accomodations. You can't get a refund simply because you changed your mind or didn't like the hotel received.
