NY Albany Crowne Plaza Downtown Options

We stayed at the 3* Crowne Plaza Downtown Albany Hotel on Aug 21, 2007 for $55 + 12 fees.

Had a hard time getting a hotel in Albany on priceline, so bid up over a few days and eventually got this one for $55+fees. Older hotel, but well maintained. Nice rooms, about average size, doors did not fit well but beds were very comfortable. A/C was noisy but had a nice pool and exercise room, which we used. Parking was $10 per night, which I didn’t know about before - darn , I hate that. Downtown Albany is really a pretty nice place – much better than I thought it would be. It seemed safe & well kept, and walk from the hotel down to the river was a very nice. Overall, good place but no bargain for $55+fees+parking.
