Stayed at the 3* Atrium Hotel across from John Wayne airport (SNA) a few months ago. Definitely NOT a 3* property. Complained to Hotwire and got a refund of one of the nights. Definitely a 2* IMHO. You might consider questioning this rating, as it's really badly misplaced. Generally, we've been totally satisfied with the Hotwire/Priceline ratings..
I had the feeling that they have had complaints about this property before, as they took about 2 seconds to decide to hand me a refund (hot Dollars, but that was fine with us and unexpected and un-asked for).
