WillTravel
2.5* Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center, Complimentary BreakfastI did a search for December 25-27. I wonder if it might be this Residence Inn:http://www.marriott.com/dpp/PropertyPage.a...arshaCode=snaahHowever, those have kitchenettes, and that amenity is not listed. I'm also not 100% sure it's in the zone.I'm actually interested in all of the options that come up on the search, but this one looks like the cheapest for the most. Any other ideas what this might be, or any of the others?I hope to go to visit a couple places in California around this time, but have not made firm plans yet. I've never used Hotwire before, but location is pretty important so I would be willing to consider it in this case. Link to comment
phx
I saw on an intercot west board a priceline topic. Someone posted that they used hotwire to get a 2.5 * in Disneyland North with breakfast included and it was a Holiday inn Express 4 miles from Disneyland. Not sure but that might be it. WillTravel
Thanks for the warning phx. That could definitely be the one. The Disneyland North area map has an area that looks like it's on the other side of the freeway. Link to comment
jenninlaca
I recommend not using Anaheim Disneyland North if you want to make sure that you are close to DL. That area is way too big, in my opinion, and includes hotels that I do not consider to be "Disneyland area" Link to comment
WillTravel
If I'm interpreting the map correctly part of Disneyland North is very close to Disneyland, but part of it is, like you pointed out, quite a distance away. So it would be risky to try to guess a property when so many have similar amenities. On the other hand, with the Disneyland South zone, then you are sure of being a fair distance from Disneyland, but at least you are probably within the shuttle zone. Link to comment
