Taliatravels
Shipping up to Boston for a bachelorette and thanks to this website, historically, I've usually had a great success in getting the hotel I'm ISO. I searched the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals and don't think either option is the Revere (the boutique option says no pool) So I popped over to name your own price, and got: 4-Star hotel in the Boston Common - Theater District Area Check In: Fri, Aug 25, 2017 Check Out: Sat, Aug 26, 2017 Your Bid: room for 1 night Room Rate: $289.00 per room/night Taxes & Fees: $54.59 Room Total: $343.59 Hotel Fee: $20.50 (Due at hotel) Total Price*: $364.09 *No surprises! Total cost includes estimated hotel fee (e.g. resort fees). Your total cost will never be higher than displayed above. The only other hotel that has a resort fee is the park plaza. thoughts? Is it a 50/50 toss up? thabks! Link to comment

It would be appreciated if you started to share your wins so that others can benefit from the information, just as you hare hoping (and have) benefited from those who have posted before you. Please start by concluding your previous New York City Hotwire hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip, then reply here and we will have a look at your post above. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. thereuare
Thanks for the follow-up! Can you please add another reply to your New York City Hotwire hotel thread indicating if there are any additional amenities listed in a second block of text under the 'regular' amenities that you did list? As for your Boston trip above the information shown is in regards to the area, not a specific hotel being offered (at this point in the bidding process PRICELINE has not yet even checked inventory for your dates). The resort fee shown is a 'worst case scenario' and shows the highest resort fee that is charged by a hotel of this star rating in the zone (so that PRICELINE can display the following message): 2 hours ago, Taliatravels said: Your total cost will never be higher than displayed above. So should the bid above be accepted it may have no resort fee (in which case you would NOT pay any resort), they could charge a lower resort fee than what is shown above (in which case you would pay less than what is indicated above), or you could receive a hotel with precise amounts indicated above. Is The Revere the only hotel that you are looking for this trip? I did find this property offered on HOTWIRE: 4* Boston Common - Theatre District for $271.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Indoor Pool Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> Revere Hotel Boston Common would be my best guess for this one Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help.
