I'm looking at this hotel in Las Vegas checking in on 1/1/18 and out 1/2/18. Any idea what it is? HOTWIRE says "The last person got the Venetian". My wife is dying to stay at the Venetian so I need to try to get that one of possible.But I see that the Venetian resort fee on their site is $39 whereas here it's listed as $44. Does that mean it's not the Venetian?

To answer your question, she really wants the Venetian, but I think getting the Palazzo wouldn't be a tragedy.
