I'm coming with 3 kids (4 people) to San Francisco for 4 nights - 9/24/2017-9/28/2017, so would like to find a room with 2 queen beds. We'd like to stay in an area which has good public transportation, safe for evening walks, with cafes and restaurants open during the evening. What would you recommend? I'm looking for nice hotel with 2 queen beds, < $270 total per night including taxes and fees (currently pre-booked hotel Zephyr on Fishermen's wharf for $271 - not sure if this is good or not). For this stay, bidding only guarantees 1 bed. A better option would be searching on HOTWIRE for two adults/two children (which would lead to 2 beds, 1 + rollaway or 1 + sofabed). Additionally, some HOTWIRE and PRICELINE EXPRESS listings do offer bed choice, although two queens may not be one of the options. I posted my reply for NYC hotel (I posted already before, but don't see my post for some reason :-() Do you think Union Square east is a good choice for woman with kids? (my husband is on convention and is not joining us) - I want to make sure that it's safe and pleasant at evening and nice to walk in. What about 3.5* in fishermen's wharf for $204? What can it be? The most important part that we'll need to go to eat in the evening and I want to be safe and also to be able to get to the attractions of the city easily with public transport or walking.. You can also use the HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS promotions in my signature. Additionally, while it may be something beside the Zephyr, the listing is showing a 2 double bed option for the same price and a 4/5 tripadvisor rating.
