jessbodas
Looking for a 5* Hotel for July 28 - 31. I found this on HOTWIRE for $177 a night and trying to determine which it would be. I really want Bellagio or Cosmo. We have previously stayed at the Wynn which I felt was a little out of the way. I'm thinking this might be Vdara? Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding! I think there may be more amenities than you have included above. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper tool and look in the EASY VIEW TAB, then click the "Full Amenities" green button next to the listing, do you see additional amenities beyond those listed above? If so, please confirm the full amenity set and we would be happy to take a look. If you see: 5* Center Strip - Fountains for $177.00 Free Internet Condo Pet Friendly Suite Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Kitchenette Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> My guess would be the Vdara. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. jessbodas
Hi there, what are the chances of naming my own price and getting Bellagio? I've been looking at Priceline and I would be happy to get any of the hotels in the Central West (Bellagio, Cosmo, or Nobu). I'm hoping to stay around $200 a night with resort fees. Also, I'm not the familiar with Nobu, but it seems to just be nicer than regular Caeser rooms? I appreciate any help and advice. Link to comment
thereuare
We don't see the Bellagio or Nobu as winning priceline bids very often as there are usually lower priced 5 star properties in the zone. You certainly can try bidding and hope for one of these, but i would suggest expecting a different property (and with the Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace selling for $415/nite for your dates, your chances of winning this one in particular are very low, imo) Let us know how you'd like to proceed, and if with a bidding strategy, please confirm which zone(s) you're willing to accept (by PRICELINE name) and your maximum bid price (before fees/taxes) and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. jessbodas
So I would like a 5 star in Cetral West strip only. What are the lowest priced 5 stars in this zone? I thought the only 5 stars are Bellagio, Cosmo, or Nobu. Maximum bid price would be $175 before fees and taxes. Is this even doable for this area? Otherwise, I'm open to other suggestions. Thanks. thereuare
I'm doubtful that $175 will be enough, but if you want to give it a try... When bidding 5* in Las Vegas you have FOURTEEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. thereuare
Did you try any of the bidding above and/or did you change your plans or needs for this trip? Previously you were hoping for the Aria and it appeared to be available within your budget, then you decide to bid for anything as long as it was in the Central Strip zone... but not you're looking outside of that zone and at hotels that are more expensive than the previously guessed Aria. What is it that you are looking for in a hotel for this trip? Are your plans firm and you're ready to commit to a hotel for this stay? jessbodas
yeah, my husband delayed and now, prices have gone up. I am still wanting area or something in the Central. I tried the bidding techniques but couldn't get anything one central west for $175. So now, we are just trying to find something. I still want Aria but it looks like it is up to $200 a night. thanks. AaronJB
I'm seeing on HOTWIRE: 5* Center Strip - Fountains for $187.00 Free Internet Resort Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> The Aria has been seen with this amenity set previously, so that would be my guess. Given current prices will this now work for your needs? Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
