(not a hard limit for marginal increase based on the value) with Bidding helper seeing the following as possibilities Hooters, Excalibur, Hard rock (off strip) and monte carlo (construction noise). (as that would make your target budget at a 'decent' property much more difficult) Currently the only offer above i'm seeing is the $28 one which is in the South Strip - Tropicana zone, which is the zone i assume you're referring to for this offer (not the South Strip - T-Mobile zone, as posted): 3* South Strip - Tropicana Ave for $28.00 Free Parking Free Internet Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Golf ==> if this is the offer you're seeing best guess here would be Hooter's This T-mobile zone property: 3* South Strip - T-Mobile Arena for $47.00 Free Internet Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> my guess would be Excalibur You could also consider: 3.5* The Strip - Southwest for $55 Business Center Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Luxor would be my best guess here 4* The Strip - Southwest for $60 (priced just dropped to $47 while i was researching it): Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Monte Carlo my guess Any of the above work for your needs? Kavation
Thank you! Would you be able to help ID Flamingo hotel Las Vegas on PE and HOTWIRE ? Link to comment
AaronJB
A property does not always show on PRICELINE EXPRESS and HOTWIRE; both services only offer 1-2 properties at each star rating in each zone for each set of dates. Is the Flamingo the only property of interest? Kavation
Requirements: Strip Hotel (prefer center over north, south if available) 3/19-3/24 (willing to add 3/18 if it helps lower the cost although that may be unlikely it being a SAT) 3 adults 1 toddler 1 infant 2 separate rooms in a suite or 2 separate hotel rooms We are down to 1) Flamingo and 2) Excalibur as preference mainly due to options of better kid pools, center strip and being close to our budget. We have ruled out Monte Carlo due to construction of the pool and MGM due to budget. You have already identified Excalibur for me above. Hotwire 3.5* 69 USD Center Strip - Fountains FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Pet friendly, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower ===? Please help ID ? 3.5* 81 USD Center Strip - Fountains FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower ====> My guess is Bally's PE 3.5 * 78 USD The Strip - Central East Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ====> My guess is Bally's 3.5 * 78 USD The Strip - North East Pets Allowed Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ====> My guess is Harrah's You may be right that Flamingo isn't offered. thereuare
1 hour ago, Kavation said: 3 adults 1 toddler 1 infant So we can correctly replicate your search, how many rooms/adults/children are you including in your search? 1 hour ago, Kavation said: We are down to 1) Flamingo and 2) Excalibur as preference So why not take the guessed Excalibur above if this is one of your two preferred hotels? If you continue to wait in hopes for the Flamingo, it may never appear and the one above could disappear and leave you with neither of your preferred properties. I will also add that you're going about this in a way that more often then not leads to disappointment... searching for your first choice of hotel and then hoping it appears on PRICELINE EXPRESS / HOTWIRE typically leads to disappointment when that hotel is not offered (which is why i ask why you don't take what is believed to be the Excalibur while it is still available); a better approach is it see what is offered and pick from the options that are available. Kavation
Just to close out the thread. Rates were very high for this particular week but lucked out with a mobile only sale. I ended up booking Flamingo Go Room High Roller View directly with the hotel @ $75 / night plus taxes and Resort fees. We opted for a cheaper flight that was a day earlier. It was difficult finding a hotel at reasonable price being a Saturday night and March Madness and all. I was able to book Stratosphere using HOTWIRE for $129.plus taxes and resort fees from the links here. Resort, Free parking, Free Internet, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Thanks much for the help.
