Welcome to BetterBidding!

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature).

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to each of these listings, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above?

Also, are you searching for the default 1room/2adults/0children?  If so, what is it that you've looking for in a hotel for this trip? (i'm asking because i see the 5* above is one of the most expensive of the offers yet it has the lowest user review rating from previous HOTWIRE guests... so why this one??)

Have you ever been to Las Vegas and/or do you need to stay in this particular zone (for convenience to a conference, convention, friends staying nearby, etc)?

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

Hello,

Thanks for such a quick response.

I had had clicked on the easy view tab and expanded the green box and the above is a complete May of features (though I missed out pool on hotel 2).

There are 8 of us travelling so I searched on 4 rooms of 2.

We we have all been to Las Vegas before, and are keen to be in the central strip area so that we are close to everything.

This is a trip for our 40th birthdays so we want something special hence looking at 4 and 5 star hotels only.

I am am wondering if staying somewhere like the Cromwell or Nobu would make a nice change for us given they are smaller and different to the larger places we have stayed in the past hence wondering if the boutique description might be for either of these hotels.

Really appreciate any any further advice you may be able to provide.

Thank you

Use the copy/paste link to copy the amenities and paste to your post, this way none are missed and we use the same wording, spelling, and don't group all of the accessible amenities into one word 'accessible'.

What is your maximum budget? (per room, per nite, before taxes/fees)

So a good deal for something like Venetian/Palazzo is too far north for your group... or is this acceptable?

Please see the copied details below as requested:

Hotel 1

Free parking, Boutique hotel, Casino, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services

Hotel 2

Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Internet access, In-room accessibility, Accessible parking Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Internet access, In-room accessibility, Accessible parking

Our budget is up to $240 per night although that would be absolute top end and something 200 or below would be preferable.   We would prefer further south of the Venetian but a nice pool would take priority over location.

Grateful for for any suggestions.

Thanks again,

Best guess/comments for each:

5* Center Strip - Fountains for $209.00
Free Parking
Boutique
Casino
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Spa
==> Nobu Hotel

I'm not currently seeing the 2nd property when searching for your dated 4room/8adults.

However, i'm still confused as to why these properties?  The 5* above only has a 75% recommendation from previous HOTWIRE guests and is the most expensive 5* hotel offered in this zone... why not the $153/nite 5 star rpoperty with 90% recommendation from previous guests... or the $186/nite 5 star also with 90%? (especially when these are more inline with your target budget and both of the requested hotels are over your ideal budget)

Not sure if you need a casino but i'm seeing the following on HOTWIRE:

5* Center Strip - Fountains for $153.00
Free Internet
Condo
Pet Friendly
Suite
Boutique
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Kitchenette
Spa
Blind Accessible
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Roll-in Shower
==> Vdara would be my guess for this one

... or if you do need a casino:

5* Center Strip - Fountains for $186.00
Free Internet
Resort
Casino
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Spa
Blind Accessible
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower
==> my guess would be the Aria (although even if some other property you usually can't go too wrong with any of the 5* hotels with a casino in this zone)

... and more (confirm your dates on the landing pages of any links provided below):

5* The Strip - Central West for $168
Restaurant
Indoor or Outdoor Pool
Casino
Fitness Center
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
==> Cosmopolitan

Thoughts on the offer(s) above?
