mudd_stuffin
I think the 4.5 * might be the Hyatt Regency. Link to comment
thereuare
Best guess for the 4.5* would be the Hyatt Regency or the Pan Pacific Vancouver. However, if you're interested the following would be less than the offer above (confirm your dates on the landing page of the provided link): 4.5* Downtown - Coal Harbor, Stanley Park, Convention Center for $175 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> the Hyatt Regency would be my guess here For the 5* my guess would be the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver. Here are the listed amenities: Resort, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Children's activities, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking Link to comment
karlzmom
Thank you for your help. I looked at your link, but with us having a party of 3 I was leery of going Priceline. On a lark, I rechecked Hotwire and found a new listing that looked a lot like the Pan Pacific and IT WAS!!! Oh, happy day! I posted my win in a win thread, but bottom line is I was able to get it for $196 for May 15 & 16. The hotel quoted me $250 as the absolute best they could do for me. Needless to say I'm thrilled. Thank you again for all your hard work. Link to comment

8sianj
Karlzmom, I'm looking at the same hotel that you got based on the amenities listed for a visit I have planned in February. I see that internet access is an amenity, but it does not say free. Looking at Pan Pacific website, I see charges apply on the room details. I'm wondering whether you can confirm with your booking that you got whether charges apply for internet. Reading tripadvisor reviews, it seems they have an option of slow internet speeds for $4.5 and faster speeds for $14 daily. No free internet in this day an age at a 4-5* hotel might be a deal killer for me. Any advise would help before I commit. Thanks! Link to comment
