Kuo birdy
I tried to book a 5-star hotel in North Strip for January 15th to January 18th. Initially, I thought the price will be low because this is not peak season and it is from Sunday to Wednesday. However, the price I got is around 200 to 250 dollars, which is much more expensive than what I've expected. Is this because there is a special event during that week? Or I should wait another one or two weeks for the system to drop the price? What is your suggestion? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Nobody can say if rates will come down, or move higher, between now and your trip, but the higher than expected rates is due to these being busy conference dates (the numbers after each date are expected attendance for a conference over the dates indicated): 1/17-1/20 64,500 1/17-1/20 60,000 1/18-1/21 25,000 1/18-1/20 25,000 What was your expected budget? (per nite before taxes/fees) Is the South Strip and/or SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? How high would you go before lowing your sights to a 4* or 4.5* property? thereuare
The MGM Signature gets good reviews and is probably the best value, but two other options just in case you have specific needs that make either of these work better: 4* Las Vegas Strip South for $142 Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess would be the Monte Carlo Resort And Casino 4* Las Vegas Strip North for $156 Pets Allowed Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> The Linq which was recently remodeled/rennovated Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
