Yes, there is a fair at this time in Vegas. Also the trip is a present for mir wife. She becomes 40 next year. It is possible that I can post some more hotels in Vegas to identify? 

 

Also I'm not really sure how long we will stay in Vegas. Maybe there will be some changes. So please don't blame me for that.

Thanks for your replies. Now I fixed the dates for next year.

 

We want to stay from 10/29/2017 to 11/03/2017 in Las Vegas. Our favorite hotel should be directly at the strip 4 or 5* and my maximum budget is $ 200 per night.

Maybe you have some suggestions for that or I should I post some hotwire hotels the next days?

 

One question more: By your experience: How are the prices at hotwire change? Is it better to book closer to the travelling date or ist it better to book as early as possible?

There is no way to know if rates will come down, or move higher, between now and your trip.. it all comes down to supply/demand and how many actual new reservations/cancellations hotels receive relative to expected new reservations/cancellations.

 

However, looking more closely at your dates, there is an automotive convention taking place during your dates (not sure if this is what you're meant by a 'fair'), but expected attendance is 160K which is HUGE, even by Vegas standards... if you find a good deal i would definitely lock it in sooner rather than later, as any really good deals will likely disappear quickly.

I think both of the above are excellent deals given the 160K conference that is taking place during these dates, and i would expect higher prices ahead (and if prices did head lower it wouldn't be by much)

 

After the above offers you're looking at a jump of another $50/nite or so.

Yes, this I meant with 'fair'. Sorry if it is not the right word.

 

Are you sure that the 4* for 120$ Is the Treasure Island? I think it also could be the SLS because the resort fee is 33,60$. Is that possible? I don't want to stay there because I think it is too far away from center strip, isn't it?

 

I will come back the next days with some hotels to ID.

We can't see the hotel names either, so while i can't be 100% certain that the hotel above is the Treasure Island... i am sure it is not SLS; as the current HOTWIRE offer has a 4.0 Tripadvisor rating, where the user review rating of the SLS is less than this.  If it did turn out to be the SLS you would have good reason to request a refund from HOTWIRE since the hotel received does not match the user review rating as to what was shown prior to your purchase.
