bclayton
Hello Aaron, Thanks for getting back to me. I'd prefer to stay at the MGM Grand if possible. I believe that I saw it listed the other day under the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals, but I wasn't sure if it was it. Is it a safe bet that if the Additional Mandatory Fee amount matches that it will be MGM Grand? Also, if I win the MGM Grand, is it always a Westwing Room? Link to comment

Not a safe bet, as sometimes the 'retail' side will show the resort fee before tax and the 'opaque' side after tax... and vice-versa. As well, with constantly changing resort fees, both sides of their service don't necessarily update at the same time. Bottomline is that this would not be a good indicator to use to try in identifying a hotel. Currently the MGM Grand (confirm your dates on the landing page) is selling for $134/nite... is it worth it to you to pay this price, or would you prefer to stay across the street at the guessed Tropicana for $50 savings? bclayton
Hello All, Can someone please tell me if this express deal is the MGM Grand? If so, will they stick me in a West Wing Room through this Priceline Express deal? It looks like the Mandatory fees match that of the MGM Grand. Please advise. thereuare
Confirm your dates on the landing page, but i do believe the best guess for the following would be the MGM Grand: 4* Las Vegas Strip South for $91 Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Rooms are generally booked 'run of house' meaning that they are assigned at check-in. You can make whatever requests you'd like at check-in, but whether the hotel is able/willing to honor your request (or whether it's a complimentary upgrade or requires an additional fee) depends on a lot of factors including: hotel occupancy levels, what rooms are available at the time of check-in, price difference between the room type you've been assigned and the room class you want, mood of the front desk clerk, etc. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. bclayton
I ended up winning Mandalay Bay instead of MGM Grand. details below. Price was originally $91.00, but it changes to $96.00 when i clicked on it to book. I would have preferred the MGM Grand, but we'll see how Mandalay bay turns out. Thank you to everyone that replied to this thread, it is appreciated. AaronJB
Sorry to hear that the result wasn't what you had hoped, but Mandalay Bay certainly gets great reviews and isn't too far from the MGM. Hopefully it will work well for your travel plans. Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches, as well as for letting us know about the change in amenity set for this PRICELINE EXPRESS property so that we can update the site's Priceline Hotel List. Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
thereuare
bclayton, Sorry this one didn't work out as expected. To confirm, this was a PRICELINE EXPRESS purchase? (or HOTWIRE?) Assuming PRICELINE EXPRESS, when you clicked the link above did you get a message that the hotel was no longer available and you could choose from the other offers on the page OR did it take you directly to the purchase page but with a different price? (or did you do a new search and clicked the $96 offer from the results page?) Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
