Priceline Hotel: Bidding Help Needed

Hello there,

 

I am looking for a hotel in New York - (Manhattan/Queens/Brooklyn), for the night of the 6th (Tuesday) of December (1 night). Looking for a 3.5 star or above hotel, and looking to spend between $50-$100.

Unfortunately, this is prime time for NYC for holiday shopping and festivities and one of the busiest/most expensive times of the year. For a 3.5* or higher in Manhattan or Brooklyn, you're likely looking at at least around $150-155. $100 or less is really seen primarily in the slowest period of the year (around January-early March.) Would $150 be acceptable? Are there other outlying areas that would be acceptable?

Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, and anything west of Manhattan up to Jersey City would also be fine.
