thereuare
I'm not seeing either of these when searching for your dates above (Nov 25-27, correct?) Are you still seeing both of these on your own search? I am seeing this offer which seems inexpensive for the area if price is a factor, should this be of any interest: 4* Louvre - Vendome - Concorde - Les Halles - 1st Arr. - 2nd Arr. (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $86 Business Center Free Internet No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> my guess would be the Holiday Inn Paris Opera - Grands Boulevards Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. DCVA
Sorry, I forgot to mention it's under Hotwire and not PricelineExpress. I just redid the search again and both 5* and 4* are still there, Now 5* is showing $172 per night now. Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
I'm seeing one 5* hotel offered in this zone, for a different price and a different amenity set than what you have posted above: 5* Louvre - Vendome - Concorde for $201.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Childrens Activities Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible For the 4* in this zone i see two, but neither are a match for what you have listed above: 4* Louvre - Vendome - Concorde for $109.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Hi-Speed Internet Childrens Activities and 4* Louvre - Vendome - Concorde for $117.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Shuttle Smoke Free Fitness Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Kitchenette Are you searching for the default 1room/2adults/0children? I assume no interest in the guessed Holiday Inn Paris Opera - Grands Boulevards at $86/nite? DCVA
My search would be for 1 room and 1 adult 0 children. Sorry about that. For now, I'm not interested in Holiday Inn Paris Opera yet. Thanks again! Link to comment
thereuare
I see it now when searching for the same occupancy that you used for your search: 5* Louvre - Vendome - Concorde for $172.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Restaurant Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Childrens Activities Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible ==> Hotel Regina would be my top guess for this one, although i can't rule out the Castille Paris - Starhotels Collezione as a possibility as well (although i think this is less likely) 4* Louvre - Vendome - Concorde for $111.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Shuttle Smoke Free Business Hi-Speed Internet ==> not certain, but my guess here would be the Hotel Duminy Vendome Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. DCVA
Thank you. It seems like the HOTWIRE rates are slightly cheaper and not a lot of discount. I can get the hotel regina for about $260 a night tax included vs. Hotwire of $230 a night tax included savings of a bout $30 a night. For Hotel Duminy Vendome, Hotwire rate is $135 a night with tax vs $155 a night with tax - savings of $20 a night. Thank again for your help. I'll report back what I ended up deciding. DCVA
I ended up using the Priceline for 4* hotel in Louvre - Opera East. I got a Holiday Inn Paris -Opera Grand Blvd for $85 a night. With taxes and fees, it comes out at $198 for two nights. This is not a deal since at the same time Hotels.com has this same hotel for the same dates for $191 taxes and fee included. Still, thanks for the help from this board. Link to comment
AaronJB
Sorry to hear that the result was not as hoped, but does look like a nice property and hopefully the hotel will be a good home base to see the city from. If you are finding a lower total price, I'd try contacting PRICELINE re: Best Price Guarantee (http://www.priceline.com/landing/best-price-guarantee.htm) and see what they say. Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches and for letting us know about this new PRICELINE property so that we can update the site's Priceline Hotel List. Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
