OneAdam13
Need help id'ing this 4* Strip South property on HOTWIRE. Hotwire estimates resort fees to be $32.44 per night. 54% off. We are traveling December 2nd - 5th. FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Resort, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Link to comment
thereuare
As per the Hotwire Hotel List, the above matches previous reports for the Tropicana so that would be my best guess for this one. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. OneAdam13
Help ID'ing this North Strip hotel. It contains "boutique hotel" in the amenities and I am not seeing that listed under any 4 star in the hotel list that only includes SLS and T.I. 4* - Vegas North Strip - Help 12/2-12/5 for $86/nite Resort fees are $32.48 per night. Any help? AaronJB
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the upper right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but a guess would be a new amenity set for the SLS. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. thereuare
I will add to the above that if you're hoping for more on the main part of the strip, i'm seeing this: 4* Strip North hotel for $92/nite with: Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess for this one would be Treasure Island which would be a nice deal for this nite vs. a conventionally booked room Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. OneAdam13
Great thanks for the help, I will keep my posts together going forward. I am not seeing that 4* property being offered using both Bidding Helper and the Hotwire site directly. Go Blue! Adam Link to comment

OneAdam13
Ok, one more I am curious about: Trip dates are the same: 12/2 - 12/5/16 4* South Strip (PRICELINE EXPRESS) - $61 Business Center Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities It's showing a $25 per night resort fee... Here is the link: Priceline Express Deal Link to comment
thereuare
Best guess for the $61/nite PRICELINE EXPRESS offer above would be the Tropicana Las Vegas. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. OneAdam13
So HOTWIRE and PRICELINE EXPRESS have same property but list it with a different resort fee? Does that happen? Link to comment
thereuare
Yes, it's entirely possible, as the resort fee is not always up-to-date with the most recent changes at the hotel, HOTWIRE mentions that the fee is approximate, and sometimes it shows with tax and sometimes wtihout tax... i wouldn't use this as a primary indicator in trying to guess the hotel being offered. OneAdam13
One more: HOTWIRE 3 1/2* - Vegas North Strip - $73 FULL AMENITIES: Near beach, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower The "near beach" amenity has me confused...also includes "condo" and bed choice. Nevermind, didn't notice no casino. I can't find how to delete. Adam Link to comment
thereuare
OneAdam13, Other than a casino, what is it that you're looking for in a hotel for this trip and what is your maximum budget (per nite before taxes/fees)? OneAdam13
Looking for 3 1/2* or better. Not too particular. Must have casino. Friends are staying at Harrahs so being close would be nice but not a priority. Hoping to go on the cheap for the hotel which is why most of my inquiries are below $100. I would prefer $80 per night max. We we are booking 1st of October so I have been watching prices everyday and they haven't moved much. Will likely take $61 4* Priceline Express deal which, in previous posts, we believe to be the Tropicana. I just like knowing what all of my potential options are. Thansk again! I will post results once we book it. Adam Link to comment
thereuare
Keep in mind that the PRICELINE EXPRESS (and any HOTWIRE) offers could disappear at any time... hopefully will still be there once you're ready to book. OneAdam13
Help with this new property appearing on Hotwire page but not in the Bidding Helper tool... 3 1/2* - North Strip Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Casino, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Golf nearby $33 resort fee "Book soon! The last person got the Harrah's Hotel and Casino Las Vegas" - which is odd since I thought Harrah's appeared on Center Strip? Link to comment
OneAdam13
UPDATE: The listing has been bumped up to $106 and appears on Bidding Helper. At least I believe it to be the same property. Amenities inlcude: Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Casino, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Any idea what it might be? I don't see another 3 1/2* listing on the hotel list other than the Stratosphere and I'm pretty sure that's the $57 listing. Link to comment

This is why 'watching' prices (and having us research hotels) is not a productive endeavor, as the results will frequently change once you're actually ready to move forward and commit to the purchase. As it's now a few days after you originally intended to make your purchase... are you ready to move forward at this point in time? OneAdam13
I understand the frequency with which prices can change. I have been using these sites for a very long time. I also have been using your site for a long time. I will watch what I want to watch. I will purchase when I am finally ready to purchase. I appreciate the information provided by your site, I do not appreciate your reply. I will "move forward" when I am ready. If you are willing to provide assistance, great, if you are looking to scold your users I will happily look for information elsewhere. I feel as though the questions I am asking can benefit all of the users on this board and not just me. Thank you... Link to comment
