thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Unfortunately at current prices your expectations are not realistic. We occasionally see sub-$100 hotel rooms in NYC, but they are usually during slow season and/or for solo Sunday nites (which is the slowest nite of the week for most hotels, including NYC)... and your darts are near the start of the busy season (not too far into, but we begin to see prices creep higher after Labor Day and mid-Sept) At the moment you're more likely looking at the $160-$185 range per nite... and this is staying a bit outside of Times Square (although still within Manhattan and with subway access) What are your thoughts in regards to increasing your budget, lowering your star rating, staying outside of the city and commuting in each day, or SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID (involves changing hotels mid-trip, although not sure at this point how much it will/won't help you) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
