amrosama
I would like to book a hotel 3* to 4* in Times Square from 7th to 11th of September. The hotels available in PRICELINE EXPRESS deals are : 3.5* Times Square Area, Amenities : Fitness and Business , Price per night :245 $ 3* Times Square Area, Amenities: Pets Allowed Business Center Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities, Price per night 227$ what would those hotels be? If I am going to bid what is the likelihood for capturing a 4* hotel in Times Square for 250$ per night including taxes and at what price I would go bidding to start with for best deal? Many thanks Link to comment
thereuare
If you're only bidding the Times Square zone, at current rates i think your likelihood of landing a 4* hotel in this zone for under a $200/nite bid (which comes to about $250 all-in after taxes and fees)... you more likely would need to be near the $250 bid amount to be successful at this point in time. We can suggest a strategy for whatever maximum bid you'd like, but i think you would increase your chances upping your maximum bid to $225-$250 (or adding other zones such as Downtown, Grand Central, and/or ESB should these be acceptable as well) Please confirm how you'd like to proceed (if increasing your budget or adding any other zones is acceptable or if we should just stick with Times Square and $200) and we'll take it from there. amrosama
Thanks for your reply , I guess I would stick to Times Square , I can increase the bidding a little bit to 270-280 $/night after taxes but it would be optimum to get 4 nights in the 1000$ range. I would appreciate if you helped me with the hotels I found in the Priceline Express. Link to comment
thereuare
For the links below confirm all dates on the landing pages... My advice would be to take this 4* Empire State Buidling hotel for $218/nite... no amenities showing, but my guess would be the Avalon hotels which gets good reviews and is well located (there is really no reason to stay directly in Times Square, imo... you will spend far less in Times Square than you think, more important to be near a subway station to quickly and easily get to other parts of the city that you intend on visiting for your day-to-day activities) If you still think you only want Times Square, best guess/comments for each: 3.5* Times Square for $245/nite with: Fitness Center Business Center ==> Courtyard By Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square 3* Times Square for $227/nite with: Pets Allowed Business Center Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Candlewood Suites New York City-Times Square 4.5* Times Square for $258/nite with: Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> maybe The Premier Hotel Times Square Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
