I need help ID'ing a stay for July 9-11 for 3 people. 4* Magnificent Mile-Water Tower for $165 per night

Amenities: "Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower"

Also, is this an easily walkable area to stay to area attractions?

As per the Hotwire Hotel List the above matches previous reports for the Public Chicago so that would be my best guess for the amenity set, although i will add that i'm currently not seeing a hotel with the amenity set above when searching for your dates and 3 adults (something close at $179/nite, but the amenity set is slightly different, and i believe a different hotel)

I'll leave it to AaronJB to comment on the location, but you can look at this property at MAPS and HOTELS.com (use the filter by hotel name on the left side of the page to find this specific hotel) and in the INFO WINDOW on the map for this property there is a link to the hotel's WalkScore (97) and you can easily see what is near the hotel.

What is it that you're looking for in a hotel for this trip and what is your maximum budget? (per nite before fees/taxes)

I assume the occupancy is 3adults (as opposed to a combination of adults/children)?

I am looking for clean, safe, walkable area to area attractions. We aren't doing a great deal of touristy things, but I would like to be able to have options in the area. Does not have to have a lot of frills. I would prefer to stay around $170 or less for lodging per night. There are 3 of us, but we are sisters and have no problems bunking up. :)

Thank you for your help.

I'm seeing when searching for 3 adults:

(You may see slightly different prices)

4.5* Navy Pier-MP $158 Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower

-- Possible match for the Swissotel.

Pros: Central location for the city as a whole, some rooms have very nice views of the river or other directions. Across from the hotel is a staircase down to the bridge below; across the street is a very nice

4* Water Tower $179 Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly

-- Possible match for the MileNorth. $7 fee per night. Excellent location right off the core of the Michigan Ave area.

3.5* Navy Pier-MP $166 Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business

-- Likely Doubletree Mag Mile. I'd rather the potential Swiss on the other side of the river for a few bucks less.

Unfortunately, there's not many options around $170ish and under when searching for 3.

Personally, I would take the potential Swiss for a few bucks less and hope for a room with a good river view.
