Hotwire Hotel: 4* Chicago (Navy Pier - Millennium Park) Hard Rock Hotel Chicago

I'm going to be travelling to Chicago August 1-4 with 2 adults and 2 - 4 year olds. Need a place downtown, I'm thinking in the Navy Pier- Millennium Park zone, or the south end of Magnificent Mile/Water Tower. 

 

Here's what I see that may be OK:

 

There is  4 Star in the Navy Pier zone for $130 with Boutique hotel Business center Pet friendly Restaurant(s) Spa services

and a 4.5 Star in the same zone for $167 with Boutique hotel Business center Internet access Restaurant(s) Spa services

 

I could use some help ID'ing these, or any recommendations. We're not driving, so a convenient location is important.

-- Likely Hotel Indigo. At the very top of the zone, but in the very nice Gold Coast area. A subway station is a couple of blocks away, as are a couple of grocery stores (quick options for snacks/drinks to take during the day). While not central in the city as a whole, the other positive is that this is a very quick taxi ride from Lincoln Park Zoo (great zoo, free) and Peggy Notabert Nature Center (admission, great family friendly option)

 

4* Navy Pier-Millennium Park $130 Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower

-- Hard Rock. Awesome, central location in terms of the city as a whole. Michigan Ave area a short walk to the North, Millennium Park/Art Institute easy walk to the South.

 

4* Water Tower $137 (+$7 fee) Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

-- MileNorth. Terrific location right off the center of the Michigan Ave area.

Great win for this property and I think you made an excellent choice - this is certainly a centrally located hotel. Wildberry (http://www.yelp.com/biz/wildberry-pancakes-and-cafe-chicago-2) is a breakfast option a couple blocks away,  Wow Bao (http://wowbao.com/) is nearby and kinda fun. There's also a Giordanos for pizza right by the hotel at 130 E Randolph. Let me know if you need recommendations (let me know likes/dislikes) and if you have any city questions.
