aurory13
I need help identifying which hotel this is in the Santa Monica area for 2 people on the night of 5/13/16. Upscale 4.5-star hotel in Santa Monica Pier - Silicon Beach area $329/night (normally $464) Business Center, Internet Access, Restaurant Accessible for visually impaired. Accessible for hearing impaired. Accessible parking. Accessible path of travel. In-room accessibility. Roll-in shower. 4/5 on TA (1001-1500 reviews) 85% on Hotwire (7 total reviews) Last Person Got: The Huntley Hotel I believe this is also the Huntley, but it's not on your list of hotels so I'm unsure. I really would like the Huntley or the Viceroy for the night. Any advice greatly appreciated. Link to comment
AaronJB
Please provide a follow-up for your prior Vegas Hotwire thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the above listing.) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. I would agree that he Huntley Santa Monica Beach would be the best guess for this one. aurory13
Thanks for the response and apologies for the delayed update on the Vegas thread. Do you have any ideas on how I could get the Viceroy for that same time period? Also for the 4.5* which other hotel could it possibly be? This way I know what to expect and not disappointed if it's not the Huntley in the end if I do go that route. I see a 4.5* hotel for $324 on Hotwire Easy View. FULL AMENITIES: Near beach, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower. Is this also Huntley? I'm confused as to why this is a $5 cheaper on Hotwire Express. Could this one be the Viceroy on Hotwire Easy View for $294. FULL AMENITIES: Boutique hotel, Near beach, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower...? It could be any other hotel that HOTWIRE deems to be rated 4.5 stars, but as per above, i believe it is very likely the Huntley. If i thought there was a high probability of it being another hotel i would mention that in my reply. There is nothing that i would include as a close 'second guess', but that doesn't mean that there can't be some hotel that in the area that i'm not yet aware of. 15 hours ago, aurory13 said: Could this one be the Viceroy on Hotwire Easy View for $294. As per the Hotwire Hotel List this matches previous reports for The Viceroy so that would be our best guess here. aurory13
My only concern with guessing it's the Viceroy is that it shows a 65% approval on Hotwire customer reviews. On the Hotwire website it shows 85% customer reviews. Does this mean it may not be the Viceroy? Thanks so much looking to book it today! Please note the price is now $283/night. Link to comment
aurory13
I used your HOTWIRE link and booked the it was the Viceroy so I'm happy. Please note they have fees on top of their rate. I'm still unsure why the listing showed 65% for customer rating though. Thanks again! Link to comment
AaronJB
Congrats on your success. Very nice win for this property and glad you are looking forward to your stay. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay. Also: "My only concern with guessing it's the Viceroy is that it shows a 65% approval on Hotwire customer reviews. On the Hotwire website it shows 85% customer reviews. Does this mean it may not be the Viceroy? Thanks so much looking to book it today!" If you are looking on the regular rate side of the service, that is powered by Expedia. Different customers/review %. There is nothing to check the current HOTWIRE review % against, unfortunately. Link to comment
