Deimos
Hello! I'm looking for some suggestions to bid on a hotel in New York City: 3* or 4* Hotel I'm flexible on location around Manhattan, but I am focusing on areas around Midtown. Checking in on Friday, 5/13 and checking out on Tuesday, 5/17. Looking for something under $150 per night. Something around $125 per night would be great. Does that sound reasonable? Suggestions will be appreciated. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Your parameters above are a bit too broad as what is possible will be very different if you're looking for a 3* vs. a 4* or a hotel anywhere within Manhattan vs. something near midtown. However, either way, at current prices $125 is not realistic. Here are my thoughts when researching current rates for your dates: 4 stars - somewhere in the $160-$185 area if Downtown and/or The Wyndham New Yorker (MSG zone) are acceptable... if not you're likely looking in the $170-$190 range for something a bit closer to midtown. 3 stars is not likely going to save you any substantial money, imo Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
