alicat130
Looking to book one room in NYC next weekend (Apr 29-May 1). Looking to stay in Manhattan for as cheap as possible. Been bidding with Priceline based on advice I've read here. I'm up to bids of $120 with all Manhattan areas and nothing being accepted. Should I try waiting it out a few days until closer to the trip? Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. What star rating have you bid at and what would be your desired max bid per night? In terms of waiting, with less than a week, this is already pretty "last minute" in terms of pricing and hotels are going to be aware of demand. I'd be persistent and try to lock something in. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Just a quick look i'm seeing this 4* Downtown-Wall Street hotel for $114/nite (less than you have bid above) and this 4 star hotel for $125/nite... are these 'new' lower prices then when you h placed your bidding or did you possibly not include the Downtown area in your bidding? (or do i have the dates on the landing page wrong?)
