coast74
I'd like bidding a hotel 2* or above in TS or near there. Is it reasonable a 110 $ bid? I'll be there in 06-16 june. Thanks for your help. Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. Which zones by name would be acceptable (in that you would be okay with staying anywhere within the zone, potentially.) The concern that I have with 2* is that there's a wide variance in terms of quality; you may luck out and get a good ones, but there are definitely a number that you wouldn't want. Is $110 your desired max? coast74
My acceptable zonas would be TS, Chelsea, Hells Kitchen, Midtown West and MSG. And I'd prefer hotels like Magnuson, Comfort Inn, etc. It's only for me and my wife and we just want comfortable bed. Location must be as better as possible, because it's our first time in NYC. thereuare
We will assist with whatever it is you'd like as you know your parameters and budget better than we do, but if you're going to try for something less than 3 stars i'd suggest going with a PRICELINE EXPRESS (or HOTWIRE) offer so that you can at least be assured of something with a good user review rating. While there may be 2 star hotels that suit your needs just fine, there may also be some that could potential spoil your trip. Regardless of whether you go for a 2* hotel or bump it up to the 3* level at current rates you'll still need to increase your budget a bit for something in midtown... likely to the $125-$150 area. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we will advise accordingly.
