I want to book for one night in NYC preferably 1) TimesSquare 2) Central Park South 3) Upper East neighbourhoods.

 

Could you please give me an average price for 4.5* and 5*. Also bidding strategy please.

Also seeing a Priceline Express Deal/ Hotwire for a 5 star central park south hotel for $161 a night.

Best guess for the 5* CPS PRICELINE EXPRESS offer would be the Viceroy Central Park New York

 

The amenities of the HOTWIRE offer are very common for a 5* hotel in NYC so i'm not certain of this one... it too may be the Viceroy (although the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer would be a few dollars cheaper on an 'all-in' basis if you were interested int his property)

 

If you wanted to move forward by bidding, did you want to first try for a 5* hotel up to your limit, then if rejected try for a 4.5* property... or is the goal the least expensive 4.5* or better in any of your acceptable zones above?
