Car rental market is volatile in many markets. I Bid $15/day for Standard Car, EWR, 02-17-2016 to 02-22-2016. Bid rejected with offer to book at $18/day. I did not bother. Re-bid for Full Size car, same dates, at $17/day. Bid accepted with Hertz: Daily offer price:$17.00 Number of days:5 = $85.00 Taxes & Fees $81.68 Total charged: $166.68 Note that the cumulative taxes & fees in this market now about equal the daily rental car fee !! I wanted to post this because there is so little data for car rentals. I suppose it takes time to abstract the bids, but I want to help the Community! Link to comment
