Looking at IDing this 4* deal

$88 dollars a night, orginally%186, 95% reccomended

 

Full amenities are

Free Internet Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated or any other suggestions for hotels in this area of River North would be awesome. Looking to be below 140 a night, preferable 4.5 but a well rated 4 would be great as well.

Not looking to go above probably around 150 a night, location is them most important thing to us, we'll be staying at the Ivy Hotel later on in the week so an easy walk/train ride there would be great.

Likely the Hotel Palomar.. but this is over your budget, no?

If you are interested in this property i believe this may also likely be The Palomar: 4.5* Mag Mile - River North hotel (comfirm your dates on the landing page) and at $143/nite is cheaper then the one above and would fall within your budget (although there is a chance that this one may also be the Loews, but either way, both of these properties get fantastic reviews)

A few thoughts:

 

Chicago's really quite walkable; while it's nice to have the option of the train nearby, just getting from the Loop to Mag Mile is really quite easy and a pleasant stroll.

 

If I go to BiddingHelper.com and search for your dates, some of the highlights (you may see a slightly different price)

 

4.5* Mag Mile N-WT $103 Boutique, Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Spa, Pet Friendly

-- Likely W Lakeshore; definitely not right near the subway and a bit of a walk to Michigan Ave, but for $50 or so less than the options you are looking at it's worth consideration if the style interests you. The hotel was recently renovated.

 

4.5* Loop $106 Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly

--- Likely Wyndham Grand. Great location on river near Michigan Ave.

 

The potential Palomar or Loews that thereuare would be an awesome choice, as well.

So I ended up using Pricelines name your own price using the guidelines and price points you guys gave me for the other 4.5 stars. Started out at $110 with River North Area, then rebid 113 adding Millennium Park and scored the Monoco Chicago, A Kimpton Hotel. Super happy! Thanks again for all your help guys :)
