lanin1232001
I'm not so sure why I got this hotel cause I want to bit for the hotel in Millennium Park - Loop - Grant Park Area. Anyway, I'm satisfied with the location of the hotel even though it only has wifi in lobby and I won't know about the type of my room until I arrive. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Congratulations on your success! Despite the word 'Downtown' being in the hotel's name, this property is located within the boundaries of the "Millennium Park - Loop - Grant Park" zone. As everyone can have a different interpretation of what constitutes 'downtown' (or similar generic names in other cities) always have a look at the zone boundaries on the PRICELINE (or HOTWIRE if using that service) maps as this will be the determining factor of where the hotel you receive can be located. Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay. AaronJB
This is definitely still in the River North area and appears to be the only hotel that was included in the re-zoning. Not sure why - perhaps something the hotel requested - but in any case, this is still an excellent location. Additionally, while it may be a paid upgrade, I'd ask if there was any way you could get a room on a higher floor facing the river. They could absolutely say no, it's worth a try - worst they can say is no. Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
